Saving neednt mean scrimping and going
without, it just means saving pennies and pounds where you can and taking care
not to waste money on useless items.

Saving money is going to prove to be a big
theme in 2009, so get ahead of the rest and start saving where you can right
now. Besides lessening your daily expenditures and looking for bargain buys
when out shopping, there are many ways to save money in the long run.

Spending a little now could mean big
savings in future. For example, speak to your motor insurance provider
about adding breakdown cover to your policy. If your car should break down in
the next year then you know you are covered and will save you quite a lot.

Another way to save is to look for cheaper
options in the things you use every day. Moving your mobile service provider to
a cheaper company or changing to a car insurance provider who
offers you lower premiums is also a good idea.

Compare prices before you buy anything; you
will find there is usually a better deal to be had. Also work out a budget
based on your current earnings and expenditure now, and then any savings you
make over the next year can go straight into a savings account, leaving you
with a nice sum at the end of 2009.
